A 25-year-old man has been arrested for forcing his alleged girlfriend to write her name on his private part with a blade in the Mall area of ​​capital Lucknow and making a video of the incident viral.

Mal police station chief Praveen Kumar Singh said on Tuesday that Avendra Sonwani, a nursing trainee, was killed after forcing his 21-year-old alleged girlfriend, who was undergoing training with him at the community health center in Mal, to write her name with a blade on his arm and chest. The accused was arrested on Monday. 

Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused on charges of rape, profanity and threatening and under the relevant section of the Information Technology Act. 

He told that the accused made a video call to the victim girl in the past and told her that if she loves only him, then she should write his name with a blade on her hand and chest.

The girl agreed to his words.

After this, the accused made a video of the incident and later made it viral on social media.

Singh told that after knowing about this, the girl's family filed a case against Avendra.
