The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, announced this in his evening video message.

"Donetsk region - fierce attacks, constant shelling. I thank all our heroes who courageously hold the defense despite everything! Luhansk region - with battles, but little by little we are strengthening our position and moving little by little. Kherson region and other territories of the south - we are doing everything to reduce the combat potential of the occupiers and eliminate their ability to shell our cities. Step by step, we will lead the Russian army to new defeats, and no shelling of Kherson or any other of our cities will help the occupiers," the head of state said.

The situation in Donbas

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian 

 are moving personnel and military equipment to the areas of hostilities.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiiv areas, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations.

Fired tanks and artillery of various types in the areas of Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Zelenopillya, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske settlements.

In the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the enemy is conducting defense and shelling from tanks, mortars and barrel artillery, in particular, the areas of the settlements of Kislivka, Krokhmalne, Berestov in the Kharkiv region, as well as Makiivka and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region.
