The US administration is concerned about the increasing violence of the Iranian authorities against the protests.

APA reports that White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre made a statement about this.

According to him, currently the White House is not announcing any new sanctions.

"We are deeply concerned about the growing violence against peaceful demonstrations in Iran.

We condemn the Iranian authorities who arrested peaceful demonstrators and opened fire on them," he said.

He answered the question about the results of the White House's sanctions against the Iranian government, as well as what other steps Washington is considering in this regard.

"We will continue to use all the means at our disposal to bring the perpetrators to justice," said Karin Jean-Pierre.
