The Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan (CEC) announced the final results of the extraordinary presidential election.

APA reports with reference to "Kazinform" that CEC Chairman Nurlan Abdirov said that the current head of state Kasim-Jomart Tokayev has won.

"Yesterday we announced the preliminary results and we have already received the original protocols.

Kasim-Jomart Tokayev won the election with 81.31 percent of votes.

It was added that Jiguli Dayrabayev, who received 3.42 percent of votes in the election, took second place.

It should be recalled that an extraordinary presidential election was held in Kazakhstan on November 20.
