South Korea has successfully completed tests of the L-SAM (Long-range Surface-to-Air Missile) defense system designed to destroy aircraft and ballistic missiles at a distance of up to 150 km.

APA reports that "The Drive" reported on this.

According to the publication, the system successfully hit several targets.

The tests came three weeks after North Korea launched 23 missiles in one day.

The publication notes that the L-SAM together with the M-SAM medium-range air defense system constitutes the air defense system of South Korea.

This system is capable of protecting the country from North Korean missiles.
