After a robbery of over 100 thousand BGN from a private house in Burgas, two Ukrainian citizens were detained.

One of them has the status of a humanitarian refugee.

The supervising prosecutor in the case stated on the air of "Hello, Bulgaria" that the address was watched by the thieves.

"Technical reviews of the CCTV footage collected from the victim's area have not yet been prepared, but it is clear from a review of this footage that the address was monitored.

The theft was carried out extremely precisely", Hristo Hristov specified.

On Monday, the detainees appeared in court with visible signs of violence and complained of being beaten in custody.

They said they didn't trust the prosecutor's office, which allowed them to be treated this way.

In response, the District Prosecutor's Office - Burgas is reporting itself and will begin an investigation.

If found guilty, the law provides for imprisonment from 3 to 15 years.
