, as a result of bad weather, 120 trees were broken in two days, another 100 were damaged, some of them fell on cars, tram tracks and power lines.

This is stated on the KMDA website.

District administrations of green spaces continue to survey the territories: parks, squares, boulevards, avenues.

The most damaged trees were found in the green zones of Shevchenkiv district: 16 felled and 48 damaged.

According to the Department of Municipal Security of the KMDA, as of today, KARS rescuers have helped remove fallen trees in 18 locations.

Nov. 21:

  • at 5:51 p.m., they went to Bulvarno-Kudryavska Street, in the Shevchenkiv district of the capital, where with the help of special equipment they removed a tree that had fallen onto the pedestrian zone;

  • at 6:18 p.m. on Zakharivska Street in the Podilsky District, rescuers began cleaning up a tree that fell on a car;

  • at 6:26 p.m., a trip to Holosiivska Street, in the Holosiivsky district, took place, where the car was also freed from a fallen tree;

  • at 6:56 p.m. they went to Nizhnyyurkivska street in the Podilsky district, where with the help of special equipment they removed a fallen tree that blocked the carriageway;

  • at 7:23 p.m. also on Nizhnyyurkivska Street, in the Podilsky district, rescuers removed a fallen tree that fell on a power line;

  • at 7:52 p.m. at the intersection of Mitrofan Dovnar-Zapolskyi and Degtyarivska streets in the Shevchenkiv district of the city, a tree that fell on the tram tracks was removed;

  • at 7:58 p.m., a trip to Sholom Aleichem Street in the Desnyan district took place, where a tree was removed from the car with the help of special equipment;

  • at 8:38 p.m., they went to Sichovy Striltsy Street, in the Shevchenkiv district of the city, where they also freed cars from a fallen tree;

  • at 8:53 p.m. on Bakynska Street, also in Shevchenkivsky District, where help was needed in freeing a car from a fallen tree;

  • at 21:32 there was an exit to Yuliya Zdanovska Street (former Lomonosova Street), in the Holosiiv district of the capital, where a fallen tree was removed from the roadway;

  • at 11:59 p.m., they went to Pavla Virskyi Street, Shevchenkivskyi district, where a tree that fell on a car was removed with the help of special equipment.

November 22:

  • at 02:25 on Olena Teliga Street, also in the Shevchenkivsky district of the capital, rescuers removed a fallen tree on the roadway, which prevented communal services from performing road clearing work;

  • at 05:38 there was an exit to the street of Polkovnyka Potehin, in the Holosiivsky district, where a car was also freed from a fallen tree;

  • at 07:03 on Volodymyrska Street, in the Shevchenkiv district of the city, rescuers started and removed a fallen tree from the carriageway;

  • at 09:28, the rescuers again went to Bakynska Street, in the Shevchenkivsky district, to remove a fallen tree from the car;

  • at 09:52 they went to Salyutna Street, in the Shevchenkivsky district, also to clean up a fallen tree from the car;

  • at 10:47 a.m. on Pavla Virskyi Boulevard in Shevchenkivskyi district, rescuers use a truck crane to clean up a tree that fell on cable lines;

  • at 12:10 they went to Roman Ratushny Street, in the Solomyansky district of the city, and started work on cleaning the emergency tree.

Elimination of the consequences of bad weather continues.

Rescuers call on residents to be careful, and drivers are asked not to park their cars in unauthorized places, as well as under trees.
