After the beginning of the autumn conscription campaign, Myortvischau, responsible for conscription, planned to check the United Military Commissariat of the Ramensky district of Moscow.

A week before the inspection of Myrtviščev, Ramenak called the military officer and "made it clear" that the recruitment of conscripts at the military office was not going well and he "will definitely find something to cling to", even if according to the documents everything would be in order.

Bad results of the inspection can affect the career of the military commissar, Myrtvischav warned.

A washing machine, worth at least 70,000 Russian rubles, would solve the problems, Myrtvischav said.

Military commander Ramenak pretended to accept the bribe and turned to the FSB - its employees took control of the purchase negotiations.

Upon receiving the washing machine, Myrtvischau was detained.

For extorting a bribe, he faces up to 12 years in prison with a fine of up to 4.2 million rubles.

Myrtvischev fully admitted his guilt.

The FSB and the Investigative Committee of Russia intend to check him for involvement in similar crimes.
