In Russia, the public movement of relatives of Russian conscripts and conscripts who demand the return of their loved ones from the front, the Council of Mothers and Wives, is seeking an open meeting with Russian President Putin.
Council organizer Olga Tsukanova recorded a video message to Putin after it became known that he would hold a meeting with mothers of military personnel.
None of the representatives of the Council of Mothers and Wives was invited to this meeting.
Here is the text of Tsukanova's video message: "The Council of Mothers and Wives has been in Moscow for the third day... We are trying in every way to call the authorities to dialogue... What are we seeing today? That Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin plans to meet with mothers on November 27. From experience, I can definitely to say what kind of meeting it will be - the mothers will ask the right questions, which will be agreed in advance, checked, and no uncoordinated person will be able to either get to this meeting or ask a question. No matter how hard we tried, we can't...
Volodymyr Volodymyrovych, are you a man or what?
Do you have the courage to meet face to face, openly, not with the pocket women, mothers you agreed upon, but with the real ones who came here from different cities at their own expense.
We are ready to meet you here in Moscow.
We are waiting for your answer!
Will you hide again?
We have men in the Ministry of Defense, men in the military prosecutor's office, all men in the presidential administration, the president is a man.
And mothers on the other side.
Well, men, will you come out for a dialogue or will you hide?
Russian mothers have a lot of questions.
Let's enter into a dialogue with us and it's enough for us to shut our mouths with our ostentatious actions."
As "Ukrainian Pravda" reports, according to sources close to the presidential administration, Putin will meet with the mothers of Russian soldiers this week, the meeting will be timed for Mother's Day, which is celebrated on November 27.
At the same time, the press secretary of the president of the aggressor country, Dmytro Peskov, confirmed that the Kremlin is preparing a meeting between Putin and the mothers of Russian servicemen.
The newspaper "Vedomosti" wrote about it on November 22.
Valentina Melnikova, executive secretary of the Union of Committees of Soldiers' Mothers, told Verstka that representatives of the human rights organization were not invited to a meeting with Putin.
Representatives of well-known mothers' associations decided not to be called to a meeting, as their activists behave too aggressively and "loudly", said a source of "Verstka" in the Russian parliament.
According to another source close to the Kremlin, the authorities are discussing the possibility of creating an alternative, patriotic movement of mothers of military personnel.
It is for this purpose that Putin's meeting with them will be organized.
We will remind, in the Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine completely defeated the newly mobilized Russians.
The loss of relatives shocked their relatives, and
they staged a riot
.
In general, since the end of October in Russia, relatives of those mobilized in 15 regions of the country have been protesting, demanding that their loved ones be removed from the front line and provided with everything necessary.
