An active lifestyle does not affect the quality or quantity of breast milk.
UNICEF Ukraine writes about this.
In addition, regular physical activity can keep you fit and help you feel better rested and energized.
It is usually advisable to wait 6 weeks after giving birth before starting any vigorous exercise such as aerobics or running.
If your birth was uneventful, you can begin light exercises as soon as you feel able to do them.
It can be soft stretches, exercises for the pelvic floor and abdomen.
If you exercised regularly before giving birth and are feeling well, you may be able to return to exercise sooner.
If you had a complicated birth or a C-section, your recovery time will be longer.
If you don't have the opportunity to exercise in the gym, or if you don't want to go outside, start with exercises that are easy to do at home while your child is sleeping, or exercise with your child.
Feed your baby before training.
If you have questions or doubts, be sure to consult your doctor.
