[Reporter Wang Rongxiang/Kaohsiung Report] Cao Xingcheng, honorary chairman of UMC, posted a message on Facebook this morning, calling on the public to support Taiwan's Foundation Progressive Party!

He believes that the Foundation Progressive Party can provide healthy competition to the Democratic Progressive Party, learn from each other, and make the local forces that resist communism and protect Taiwan stronger. Please let the Foundation Progressive Party, which lacks media exposure, not be too lonely in this election campaign .

Cao Xingcheng said that when he attended the annual meeting of the "Asia-Pacific Free Women's Association" last night, he met Dr. Wu Xindai, a candidate for the Foundation Progressive Party's Taipei 2nd Constituency District. The emerging political parties that face up to China's threat to Taiwan have always been active, firm and uncompromising in all initiatives to resist China's protection of Taiwan.

Please read on...

He said that the current members of the Foundation Progressive Party are young, enthusiastic and active, and the party and its candidates have repeatedly put forward their political views on strengthening and strengthening Taiwan's civil defense and national defense. And pay attention to Xi Jinping's policy changes and suppression of Hong Kong after he came to power. As early as the Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong, he had already reminded the people of the country to pay attention and actively spoke out.

Around 2019, after the anti-extradition protests in Hong Kong, Taiwan’s Jijin actively but very low-key assisted the rescue of Hong Kong people. They are really a group of young, ambitious, firm and enthusiastic anti-China protection groups; Surgeon Wu Xindai (Inner Hunan Harbor District) was nominated, and the other candidates were in Yilan, Taoyuan, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung.

Cao Xingcheng pointed out that it is great to see young people in Taiwan paying attention to the situation in Hong Kong and lending a helping hand. This is something that can only be done with a broad realm and great love.

He thought to himself that Taiwan's local political parties, besides the DPP, also need to have other brands, so they don't have to put all their eggs in one basket.

The Foundation Progressive Party can provide healthy competition to the Democratic Progressive Party, learn from each other, and make the local forces that resist communism and protect Taiwan even stronger!

Therefore, I am happy to share my support for them, and I ask everyone to help spread the word, so that the Foundation Progressive Party, which lacks media exposure, will not be too lonely in this election campaign.

Taiwan Foundation has launched a total of 24 congressional candidates in 9 counties and cities in Taiwan. The picture shows the campaign party in Kaohsiung last weekend.
