Another "combat" priest of the Russian Orthodox Church from Pskov, Oleksandr Tsyganov, died in Ukraine together with the occupiers.

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Pskov-Pechersk Monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Tsyganov was a military chaplain of the 76th airborne assault division of the Airborne Forces (known in Ukraine as the "Pskov paratroopers", who have been fighting against our country since 2014.

The priest died after being wounded as a result of shelling in Ukraine.

The monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church noted that he died "while fulfilling his priestly duty regarding the spiritual care of the Russian army."

Obviously, Russians have their own "specific" concept of Christianity, if a person who calls himself a priest "blesses" war criminals to kill civilians.

Oleksandr Tsyganov came under fire along with another "combat priest" of the Russian Orthodox Church Mykhailo Vasiliev.

Vasiliev's death was reported on November 6.

He actively supported the killing of Ukrainians and called on Russian women to be more "fertile" in order to

send their sons to war

.

Vasiliev participated in the wars in Chechnya and Syria.

Patriarch Kirill personally came to mourn Vasiliev, and Putin sent a wreath from himself.

UOC MP and the war

The UOC MP continues to claim that it has no relationship with the Russian Orthodox Church and Patriarch Kirill, who openly supports the war and the killing of Ukrainians.

In May, in the Kiev monastery in Feofania, the UOC MP even gathered for a Council, in which they announced the alleged break with the Russian Orthodox Church.

At the same time, Onuphrius did not officially declare autocephaly.

For half a year, the UOC MP has not published its charter, which would clearly state that this denomination has nothing to do with Moscow.

The head of the OCU, Metropolitan Epiphany, explained the "trick" of such statements.

According to him, the de facto connection of the UOC MP with Moscow remains, and the de jure Ukrainian Orthodox Church wants to avoid the law "2662", which is designed to rename it.

On November 13, a video of women performing a song glorifying Russia

in a church on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra reached social networks  .

At first, the UOC MP declared that the video was a fake, and the sound was artificially added.

However, later it became known that the video is neither a montage nor a fake.

The Security Service of Ukraine started criminal proceedings on the fact of this incident.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the latest scandals with the UOC MP.
