The executive director of the DTEK company, Dmytro Saharuk, said that after the massive Russian shelling, the energy industry is gradually restoring the system, but the situation remains difficult.

Today, November 20, there were no emergency power outages, only scheduled ones.

He said this on the air of a national telephon.

"We are recovering little by little and restoring the power system after the shelling. Today is a holiday, electricity consumption is lower on weekends, so we manage only with planned outages," says the executive director of DTEK.

Saharuk does not rule out that, if necessary, the duration of outages may be longer than 4 hours.

"But it can be the other way around: when there is less need to unload the network, the duration of shutdowns can be shorter," he says.

The director of DTEK explained that energy companies cannot warn the population about emergency shutdowns, because they themselves do not know when they will occur.

"The reason they are emergency is that we don't know when they happen. There is an overload of the network or a separate section of the network, and then the command is given to turn it off so that the system does not burn out," Saharuk said.

We will remind that Putin's missiles have found a new target in Ukraine and are hitting the gas infrastructure.

In total, since February 24, Russia has used more than 4,700 missiles against Ukraine.
