The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus intends to "strengthen" the positions on the border with Ukraine with personnel.

To do this, he prepares Belarusian policemen for the border service.

This was reported by the Belarusian TV channel STV with reference to the words of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, Ivan Kubrakov.

The minister explained the transformation of policemen into border guards by the fact that he "knows where to expect terrorist acts in Belarus."

So, probably, this is how he prepared the "fortification" of the borders.

He also threatened anyone who tried to do something, promising "destruction".

"As for the duty of police officers at the border, this is not a new task, we have performed it many times. And today, of course, we especially strengthened the border with Ukraine. (...) If someone tries, especially with regard to terrorist acts, to territory of the Republic of Belarus, as I said earlier, when we conducted training, these criminals will be destroyed. And there can be no other options. The task for the internal affairs bodies is clearly set," - assured Kubrakov.
