Polish air defense systems are at the Ukrainian border and protect strategic objects.

There is not a single country that can protect its entire territory with such systems, not even Israel succeeds.

This is what the Polish ambassador in Sofia, Maciej Szyshmanski, said in the "Offensive" studio on NOVA NEWS regarding the explosion in a border village that killed two Poles.

"Poland is taking measures to increase the degree of its air defense, but such a misfortune is difficult to prevent.

Every crash is a surprise," he said.

"The Americans also play a big role in the investigation of the explosion in the Polish border village.

The Ukrainian representatives also want to know what we found on the ground.

It's an accident - the Ukrainian air defense is trying to shoot down a Russian missile approaching a large power plant.

It seems that there were two missiles - one went down, the other reached Poland and this misfortune happened," said the diplomat.

"About 10 km from the border of Ukrainian territory there is a Ukrainian power plant.

The accident happened 6.5 km from the border.

The victims are two men.

One is a driver, the other is a warehouse worker," Machei Shishmanski said.

Zelensky changed his position on the missile that fell in Poland

"We will certainly continue to support Ukraine, our tanks are fighting in Ukraine," the diplomat said when asked if Poland would continue to give military aid to Ukraine.

We are replacing the armaments that we gave to Ukraine - this is how Szyshmanski answered about the new orders for armaments of Poland.

Regarding the purchase of new weaponry for his country, he explained that such type of weaponry is being purchased that is comparable to what is available, in order to avoid additional costs.

When the thief is looking for a target, he does not attack the weak units, it became clear from his words on the occasion of the Bulgarian proverb: "When a country does not feed its army, it will feed a foreign one".
