Andrus Tapinas

, who previously raised funds for the Bayraktar drone for Ukraine, wrote about it on Twitter.

"Lithuanians are under attack.

After providing Ukraine with the "PEACE Children" sea drone, we collected another $250,000 for the second one under the name "Yes to peace" or "PEACE Да".

And we already have 40,000 euros for the third - "Duke of Peace" ("PEACE Duke").

This will be the best trio since the 3 tenors," Tapinas wrote.

Earlier it was reported that in Lithuania they bought a marine drone for Ukraine with 250,000 dollars collected earlier and chose an eloquent name for it.

The Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov, said that the funds will be transferred through the United24 fundraising platform, and the Lithuanians themselves will choose the name of the drone they financed.

On November 11, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the start of fundraising "for the world's first Ukrainian fleet of naval drones."

In May 2022, Lithuanian journalist and public figure Andrus Tapinas launched a fundraising campaign in Lithuania to purchase the Turkish Bayraktar drone for Ukraine.

As a result, Lithuanians collected about 5 million euros for the drone.

The Turkish company Baykar, which produces "Bayraktari", having learned about the initiative, decided to donate the drone to Ukraine for free and asked Lithuania to transfer the collected money for humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
