Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Volodymyr Gavrylov said that Ukraine can liberate Crimea by the end of December, and the entire war with Russia will end by spring

He said this in an interview with Sky News.

Volodymyr Gavrylov, a retired major general, said that Ukraine will not stop going to victory.

"People have paid a lot of blood, a lot of effort for what we have already achieved," Gavrilov emphasized.

The Deputy Minister of Defense emphasized that the return of Crimea to Ukraine is only a matter of time, "and of course we would like to achieve this as soon as possible."

According to him, this can be facilitated by a change in the situation inside Russia, for example, a sudden one

the collapse of Putin's regime

"I think that Russia may face a 'black swan' in its own country, within Russia, and this may contribute to our success with Crimea," said the deputy minister.

However

a military version of the development of events "with some combination of forces, resources and something else" also exists

"We can go to Crimea, for example, until the end of December. Maybe. It is possible that it will happen," he said

Gavrilov.

He is convinced that the Ukrainian troops will continue to fight in winter, using their potential, despite the harsh conditions, low temperatures and exhaustion.
