Eight more people have been detained in Turkey on suspicion of being linked to the explosion in Istanbul last Sunday, Anadolu Agency reported.

Six people were killed and 81 injured in the November 13 blast on the Istiklal pedestrian street in central Istanbul.

Turkish authorities blamed the attack on the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG), which Ankara views as an offshoot of the PKK.
