According to the draft law "On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023", the revenues of the state budget for 2023 are predicted to be 30.7 billion manats, which is the highest indicator in the history of the country, 5.2 percent compared to 2022. Compared to 2021, it is 16.4 percent more.

In the project, the state budget expenditures in 2023 are predicted to be 33.3 billion manats, which is 1.0 billion manats more than in 2022, and 5.9 billion manats more than in 2021.

The expenses of the state budget of 2023, as well as the revenues, are the highest indicators in the history of the country.

At the same time, according to the project, in 2023, the revenues of the general budget are forecasted at the level of 32939.4 million manats (31.1 percent of GDP), which is 3721.5 million manats or 10.2 percent of the revised forecast of 2022. means a percentage decrease.

The overall budget expenses for the next year are predicted to be 37,883.0 million manats, which is 35.8 percent of the GDP.

The costs of the overview budget are 2342.1 million manats or 6.6 percent more than the revised forecast of 2022.

It is predicted that there will be a budget deficit (deficit) of 4943.6 million manats in the overview budget for 2023.
