The "Bulgarian Voice" party will be established this Sunday at a protest rally in front of the presidency.

We will start with an appeal to the Bulgarian people, we are open to all citizens who want their voice to be truly heard, Tihomir Vassilev, one of the founders of the party, announced at a press conference in BTA.

The political scientist was among the founders of "Stand Up.BG", as well as among the organizers of the protests from the summer of 2020.

He did not hide that he was disappointed with the political formations of the "change".

Everyone promised at the protests that they would give a voice to the Bulgarian society, including the formation in which I was.

However, political skeletons were rehabilitated, Vassilev commented.

Another of the founders of the new party is the lawyer Georgi Popov, who was a representative from "There is such a people" in the 45th and 46th parliaments.

According to him, while he was an MP, ITN did not fulfill any of the wishes of the people they met during the election campaign.

We came together to make a party because otherwise we cannot enter politics.

A party that is free from frameworks and dogmas, that is decentralized, we give full autonomy to our regional coordinators, explained Popov.

And he added that more than 60 percent of the structures of the future party in places have already been built.

The formation includes experts from the non-governmental sector, from various civil organizations.

They have already drafted several bills to bring to a future parliament if they find a place in it.

The founders have collected the necessary signatures for party registration, and an Initiative Committee has been formed.

The first step, however, will be the rally in the square.

Where the founders of the party are among the people and gather more like-minded people.

According to them, even the newest political forces in parliament, which have declared themselves parties of change, have quickly moved away from the public interest and the agenda of ordinary people.

From the future formation, they plan to work mostly in the field and in electoral districts, to have a position on all discussions in the plenary hall and to prepare draft laws that first undergo a wide public discussion.

We have created 16 sectoral groups on sectoral policies, on which we are working hard with civically active people and non-governmental organizations, said Georgi Popov.

One of the ideas of the future party is to move the administrations of some of the ministries outside of Sofia.

And the goal is to be closer to people.

They are also preparing a Law on the civil servant, as well as a Law on "tacit consent of the state".

Among their ambitions is the effective development of electronic governance.

We are for a strong national state within the European Union, Tihomir Vassilev also stated.

From his words, it became clear that the future party aims to participate in the next parliamentary elections, as well as in the local vote next year.

Among the founders of "Bulgarian Voice" are also the musician Petar Pisarski, the lawyer Ognyan Mitev, Plamen Ivanov - energy expert, Marcelo Rizov.
