[Reporter Bao Jianxin/Kaohsiung Report] Lin Nan, who has a handbook of severe disabilities, was sentenced to imprisonment in September for being suspected of drunk driving. He thought his wife was also seriously handicapped, had to support his daughter, and was a low-income household. The verdict pointed out that at 1:20 p.m. on April 30 this year, Lin Nan was on the side of the road beside Dingxin Market in Kaohsiung City. After drinking with his friends, he drove a small truck out for about 10 minutes, passing by the intersection of Dingjinhou Road and Dingqiang Street. He was stopped by the police for not wearing a seat belt, and was found to smell of alcohol, with an alcohol concentration of 0.53 mg per liter. He was transferred to the Kaohsiung District Prosecutor's Office for investigation and prosecution, and was sentenced to 9 months in prison by the District Court.

Lin Nan pointed out that his wife suffers from severe physical and verbal hearing loss, and has a 9-year-old daughter to support. He also suffers from a locked lumbar fracture, accompanied by spinal cord injury and paralysis. Ask for a lighter sentence.

The second-instance collegial panel investigated, and the couple surnamed Lin proposed a serious handicap manual, both of which were approved in 2009. Although "severe handicap" is marked, it can be used for life. Now that Lin can drive a small truck and set up a stall to do business, he does not appear to be paralyzed.

It was also found that Lin Zhongcan was sentenced for drunk driving in 2015, and the original trial was based on comprehensive considerations, so the appeal was rejected and affirmed.
