On Monday, November 14, the UN General Assembly adopted a draft resolution on compensating Russia for damages caused by the invasion to Ukraine. 

The corresponding decision was made during the 11th extraordinary special session of the UN General Assembly.

The document is entitled "Provision of legal remedies and reparations in connection with aggression against Ukraine", prepared by Ukraine with the co-authorship of almost fifty countries.

94 countries voted for the resolution, 14 voted against it, and another 73 abstained during the vote.

Among those countries that voted "against" are

Russia, Belarus, Syria, Iran, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Eritrea, China, Mali, Nicaragua.
