The accused in the murder of live-in partner Shraddha Walker has been arrested after 5 months.


Police has arrested Aftab Amin Poonawalla, accused of killing his 26-year-old live-in partner Shraddha Walker about 5 months ago in Delhi and then missing the body.

Police have registered a case of murder against accused Aftab and the body of Shraddha is being searched.

According to the information, Aftab had killed Shraddha and cut her body into 35 pieces and threw them in different areas of Delhi.

On November 8, 59-year-old Vikas Madan Walker had lodged an FIR for kidnapping his daughter at the Mehrauli police station in Delhi.

Girl used to work in a multinational company in Mumbai

26-year-old Shraddha Walker used to work in a call center in a multinational company in Mumbai.

At the same time, Shraddha met Aftab Amin.

Then both started liking each other and they started living in live-in relation.

When the family came to know about this relationship, they started protesting.

After this protest, Shraddha and Aftab suddenly left Mumbai.

After this he started living in Chhatarpur area of ​​Mehrauli.

But in the meantime, Shraddha's phone number started coming off.

Shraddha Walker's father told that he lives in Palghar, Maharashtra along with his family.

When he reached Shraddha's flat in Chhatarpur on November 8, where the daughter lived on rent, the door of the flat was found locked.

Then he reached Mehrauli police station and lodged an FIR with the police.

The police has caught Aftab on Saturday.

According to the police, Aftab told that Shraddha often used to pressurize him to get married.

There was a fight between the two over this.

On May 18, during a quarrel, he strangled Shraddha to death.

After this, the body was cut into several pieces with chappad and thrown in different areas of Delhi.

He has also confessed that he kept on throwing the pieces of the dead body at different places for 18 days.

He had kept a big fridge to keep the dead body.
