, a 50-year-old man tried to disassemble a tank shell, as a result of which he was fatally wounded.

Another accident happened in the Kharkiv region, where a mine blew up a car tower with employees of "Kharkivoblenergo", the power workers miraculously managed to survive.

The head of the police of the Kyiv region, Andriy Nebytov, reported the death of a resident of Kyiv region.

"A terrible and senseless death. Today, a 50-year-old man died in the hospital from shrapnel wounds, who tried to disassemble a tank shell last night. A resident of Stary Petrivtsi picked up the explosive object in the territory where active hostilities were taking place in the Kyiv region," he said.

According to Nebytov, the law enforcement officers found other dangerous items at the deceased's house - aviation missiles, parts of an artillery projectile, combat grenades, ammunition and even parts of the Uragan MLRS.

"I emphasize once again - whatever the purpose of the further use of military "trophies", we should not forget that weapons remain weapons. This war proved to us that even experienced sappers or explosives specialists, who regularly engage in mine clearance, die from enemy traps," - he noted.

The second accident happened today, November 14, in the Kharkiv region near the village of Bezruky.

There, during the repair work on the high-voltage power line, the truck tower with the employees of "Kharkivoblenergo" was blown up by a mine.

Vyacheslav Zadorenko, the head of Dergachivska MBA, informed about this.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among the residents of REM.

"Thank God that a miracle saved the boys' lives," he said.

The police urged the public to avoid areas where active hostilities were taking place, not to visit forest areas and fields that were under occupation, and also not to collect and bring home unfamiliar objects, and not to try to manipulate them.

"If you find a suspicious object, call the 102 line. Do not put your health and life at risk," Nebytov said.

Demining in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, specialists have already defused 

274,000 explosive objects

in Ukraine .

According to emergency officials, during this period, about 74 thousand hectares of the territory of Ukraine were examined and cleared of explosive objects.

On June 3, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 

more than 30 million hectares

 of the territory of Ukraine need demining.

The Verkhovna Rada passed a law that gives the National Guard the ability to carry out demining.
