Western countries will face the consequences if they decide to stop supplying weapons in response to Ukraine's refusal to negotiate with the Russian Federation.

Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, stated this on the air of the nationwide telethon in the 1+1 slot.

He assured that no one will decide the fate of Ukraine behind the backs of Ukrainians.

"What does it mean - less weapons will be given? Everything becomes known in public society and space. I can say that in 2008, when together with the Georgians we were refused the MAP, at that time there was a different information space, there were no social networks that exist today exist. If they stop supplying us with weapons, believe me, the world can explode. Then talk about democracy and the free world, where should they go? It's quite a dangerous thing to stop helping us," said Danilov.

The Secretary of the National Security Council believes that Western partners, by supplying Ukraine with weapons, help not only us, but also themselves.

Earlier, the White House stated that the administration of the US president is not conducting non-public negotiations with Russia regarding Ukraine.

This is how the USA commented on Sullivan's talks with Putin's advisers.

However, according to the Wall Street Journal, the United States is privately hinting to Kyiv about the need for negotiations.

The publication claims that Washington gave a signal to Ukraine that at least Kyiv should appear open to negotiations.

Biden's national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, allegedly conveyed this message to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his aides in Kyiv on November 4

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine explained that Russia is trying to buy time by announcing negotiations.

Russian oppositionist Leonid Gozman also believes that after the armistice, the Russian army can regroup and attack Ukraine again with new forces.
