Justin Trudeau announced plans to provide Ukraine with 500 million Canadian dollars (about 400 million US dollars) in additional military aid and the introduction of additional sanctions against Russia.  

This is stated in a message on the website of the Prime Minister of Canada.

It is also noted that these

funds will be used for the purchase of military, intelligence and communication equipment, as well as fuel and medicine.

"We will continue to use all the tools at our disposal to support Ukraine and hold Russia accountable. Today at the G20 Summit in Bali, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canada will provide $500 million in additional military aid to Ukraine to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect its country from the brutal and unjustified invasion of Russia," the message reads.

Canada is also introducing additional sanctions against the Russians.

These sanctions target 23 representatives of Russian justice and security agencies, including police and investigators, prosecutors, judges and prison officials, who are involved in gross and systematic human rights violations against Russian opposition leaders.

Military aid from partners for Ukraine

The Netherlands will allocate more than 25 million euros

to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Funding will be used to provide the Ukrainian military with rations, first-aid kits, ambulances, fuel trucks and means to combat drones.

On Monday, November 14, Lithuania confirmed the transfer of

12 more M113 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.

The other day it also became known that the

USA is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine

, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

On Thursday, November 10, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak discussed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi the Russian Federation's statements about withdrawing from Kherson and assured further support for Ukraine,

in particular promising weapons and ammunition for the military.
