At least 326 people died as a result of the protests held in Iran regarding the protection of women's rights.

APA reports that CNN reports about this with reference to the Norwegian group of Iranian human rights organizations (IHRNGO).

Human rights activists claim that the information provided is the "absolute minimum".

According to them, 43 of the 326 dead were children and 25 were women.

The channel notes that it could not independently verify these figures.

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian previously had a telephone conversation with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, during which the unrest in the Islamic Republic was discussed, among other issues.

As mentioned, during the dialogue, the minister noted that Iran's protests are supported by a number of Western countries.
