Associate Professor Dr. Anton Tonev, MP from "Continuing the Change" and chairman of the Health Commission in the National Assembly, commented to Nova TV about the breakthroughs in the healthcare system in our country.

According to him, the current state of the health system is the result of long-term neglect of the problems by the authorities.

"Due to the political dynamics and the frequent change of power, a defragmented parliament, we cannot really talk about a very serious reform at the moment.

We can only use short-term patches to patch the holes that appear", the representative believes.

He was categorical that the

Health Commission in the National Assembly has a great desire to resume talks between the Bulgarian Medical Union and the National Health Insurance Fund.

Associate Professor Dr. Tonev called on the caretaker government to assume its political responsibility and propose a new budget.

PP on the terminated negotiations between the BLS and the NHIF: It is disturbing

The PP MP also commented on the political situation in our country.

According to him, if the largest party in the parliament fails to form a government, "Continuing the Change" will propose its own composition for the cabinet.

"We have to admit that after the last elections, we seemed to have more in common with the Bulgarian Socialist Party, as one of the main reasons for working with it was that this political force would help prevent the previously unpleasant practices of controlling public finances, organizing the state.

Now it seems as if we are observing a retreat from these positions clearly stated at the beginning of the year", said the chairman of the Health Committee in the National Assembly.
