In the Russian city of Kronstadt, representatives of the community of St. Michael's Cathedral, which is the main group of the Russian Navy, announced the creation of volunteer battalions to go to war in Ukraine.

This is reported by Russian propagandists with reference to the "coordinating director" of the new private military company (PMC), Volodymyr Khilchenko.

He calls his organization a "tactical training center" - it was created on the basis of a base for training for the "Marine landing" competition.

Retired special forces participate in the creation of the PMC.

The organizers "express their gratitude" to the abbot of the Kronstadt Cathedral Alexius, who gave his "blessing".

It is planned to finance the newly-emerged "Orthodox" PVC, which was named "Andriiivskyi krest", with donations and personal funds of the participants.

The training of those mobilized within the framework of the law on partial mobilization and the creation of "volunteer battalions" that will be sent to war against Ukraine is already taking place here.

We will remind, in Ukraine, the abbot of the temple of the Great Martyr Varvara at the headquarters of the Strategic Missile Forces of the Russian Federation, Mykhailo Vasiliev, was liquidated.

This priest actively supported the killing of Ukrainians and called on Russian women to be more "fertile" in order to send their sons to war.
