Prime Minister Narendra Modi has flagged off the first "Vande Bharat" train of South India today i.e. on November 11.

With this, the country has got the 5th Vande Bharat Express train today.

South India has received the gift of Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat Express train on PM Modi's two-day visit.

This train will run between Mysore and Chennai via Bangalore.

According to the information given by the Ministry of Railways, the trial run of the fifth Vande Bharat train of the country has started from MG Ramachandran Central Railway Station in Chennai.

Let us tell you that the Ministry of Railways has also released the video of the trial run of Vande Bharat. This is the first semi-high speed train in South India.

The average speed of this train will be 74 kmph, which will take passengers from Chennai to Mysore in just 6 hours 30 minutes.

What will be the route of the train

Chennai to Mysore train number 20607 will leave from Chennai railway station at 5:50 am.

This train will reach Bengaluru City Junction at 10:25.

This train will stop here for 5 minutes, then it will leave at 10:30.

After this the train will reach Mysore at 12:30.

Coming back, train number 20608 from Mysore to Chennai will leave Mysore at 13:05 PM (1.05 PM).

This train will reach Bengaluru at 14:55 PM (2:55 PM).

This train will stop at this station for 5 minutes at 15 hrs (03 hrs) and will leave from Bangalore.

After this, this train will reach Chennai at 19:35 pm (07:35 pm).

This train will have only two stoppages – Bangalore and Katpadi.

Apart from this, there will be a total of 16 coaches in this train.
