ICGB, the independent transmission operator of the Greece-Bulgaria Interconnection Pipeline (IGB), which delivers Azerbaijani gas to Bulgaria, intends to announce two new auctions for free volumes for December.

According to the report of "APA-Economics" referring to the ICGB, the free capacities of the gas pipeline are offered in a transparent and accessible manner on the two European trading platforms, PRISMA and RBP.

According to information, on November 21, the company will announce an auction for fixed monthly volumes on the Greece-Bulgaria route.

At the end of the month - on November 29, a non-stop auction will be announced in the opposite direction (Bulgaria-Greece).

It is noted that the first new user of IGB was also registered in the last month.

The company "Axpo Bulgaria" (part of the "Axpo Group", Switzerland) has successfully passed all stages of the registration process and now has the opportunity to participate in all potential auctions announced by the ICGB on both platforms.

The ICGB partner continues discussions with all traders interested in ordering free capacity on the IGB pipeline.

It should be noted that the 182-kilometer gas pipeline connects the gas transmission networks of Greece and Bulgaria at Komotini and Stara Zagora points and directly connects to Bulgaria's Trans-Adriatic Gas Pipeline (TAP).

The total capacity of IGB is 3 billion per year.
