In the Kharkiv region, a woman shot a man with a weapon he was showing off to guests during a feast.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police of the Kharkiv region.

The tragedy happened on November 8 in the village of Vysochynivka, Chuguyiv District.

During a feast with friends, a 45-year-old man began to show the Kalashnikov-74 assault rifle to those present.

He sent the cartridge into the chamber and handed the weapon to his 51-year-old wife and invited her to shoot in his direction.

The woman pressed the trigger and hit the believer.

He died on the spot from his wounds.

"According to this fact, investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 115 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment. The woman was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. She was informed of the suspicion of committing a crime 2. - informed the police.
