FILM.UA presents the official trailer of the Ukrainian-Italian family comedy starring Ukrainian Irma Vitovskaya.

Vlada Koza will show the life of the Italian mafia from the inside.

The film "Cosa Nostra. Mother is leaving" will be shown in cinemas from December 1, 2022.

Anastasiya Lodkina, the author of the film's idea and director of the trailer editing, said that the film had to be shot in Kyiv during a full-scale war.

"During the production of the film, Irma Vitovska experienced no less adventures than her character Vlada Koza. For example, she went to film in Italy for a month, but because of the pandemic, she was stuck there for three. During this time, director Giovanni Dota and the Italian actors with whom Irma not only worked, but also served quarantine in a hotel - they became a real Ukrainian-Italian family. And we shot the film in Kyiv during the Great War. We have come a long way in 5 years of film production. And everyone who comes to the cinema to get pleasure and support our film, we will consider them as family. Because the viewer of Ukrainian cinema is our family!", Lodkina said.

"Cosa Nostra. Mom is leaving" is exactly the breath of fresh air that we all need right now.

We are convinced that thanks to the release of this warm and atmospheric film, Ukrainians will once again remember the invincibility of the Ukrainian nation.

After all, would any other woman dare such a dubious adventure?

This is our strength and the key to victory," Nadiya Korotushka, director of FILM.UA Distribution, said.

The main character of the family comedy, Vlada Koza, brilliantly played by Irma Vitovska, plunges headfirst into the conflicts of Sicilian mafiosi and, thanks to her ingenuity, copes with all problems: she arranges on the shelves not only washed things, but also forgotten images, finds an approach to each of the children of the mafia boss , and will also feed you delicious Ukrainian borscht.

And all this will take place under the fiery music of "DahaBrakha", which so suits the temperament of the heroine.

What is the film about?

The main character of the film, Vlada Koza, sells her house in the Carpathians and flies to sunny Sicily to live with her daughter and help take care of her grandson.

But it turns out that no one was waiting for her mother's arrival... After a quarrel with her daughter, Vlada accidentally ends up at the villa of the once powerful Italian mafioso Don Fredo, now a widower who is going through deep personal, family and financial crises.

Vlada gets a job as a cleaner, but becomes the savior of this house: a mother for Don Fredo's children and a reformer of the old, ineffective and, most importantly, inhumane mafia.
