On November 10, within the IX Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, the first lady of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and the first ladies of other countries got acquainted with the exhibition "Colors of Uzbekistan" in Samarkand.

APA reports that Mehriban Aliyeva, the first lady of Azerbaijan, Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva, the first lady of Uzbekistan, Amina Erdogan, the first lady of the Republic of Turkey, and Aniko Levai, the wife of the Prime Minister of Hungary, viewed the exhibition together.

It should be noted that the exhibition features famous works from the collection of the State Art Museum of the Republic of Karakalpakstan named after I. Savitsky located in Nukus.

The works exhibited here cover all directions of Uzbekistan's 20th century fine art.

The unusual nature and ancient monuments of Uzbekistan have always been a source of inspiration for artists.

Many artists of Karakalpakstan created excellent works inspired by the blue Aral Sea and Amu Darya.

Fine art in Uzbekistan developed rapidly in the 20th century.

Although the lives of the artists of that period were different, it was Uzbekistan that united them.

Not only the artists born in Uzbekistan, but also those who came here from different places, fascinated by the wonder of the sunny land, lived and created forever in this ancient land.

Today, their works are displayed in the exhibition.

It should be noted that more than 90 works of 14 artists are displayed at the exhibition.
