78% of Georgian citizens opposed the introduction of a visa-free regime with Russia.

Georgians are also against the fact that Russians can buy real estate and register their own business on the territory of the country.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the International Republican Institute (IRI),

In turn, only 14% of respondents support a visa-free regime with Russia.

8% are ready to allow Russians to register a business in Georgia, and 5% support granting the right to purchase real estate to citizens of the Russian Federation.

4% refused to answer the question or could not express their position.

The study was conducted in Georgia from September 13 to October 2, 2022.

A total of 1,500 respondents who have the right to vote were interviewed.
