Advisor to the President's Office Oleksiy Arestovich reacted to the information about the order of the Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu to withdraw from the right bank of the Dnieper by greeting the people of Kherson.

He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

He also placed the right emphasis on the retreat of the occupying army from Kherson.

"Let's get it right: the Russian army is not leaving Kherson. It was knocked out of Kherson by the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Knocked out with heavy battles, with losses, methodical gnawing at the enemy's defenses, work with crossings, heavy and bloody military labor," Arestovych said.

He also addressed the townspeople themselves.

"Dear people of Kherson. Here we are coming back. Here you are coming back. Welcome home," the adviser wrote.

According to him, the fighting on the right bank of the Dnieper will continue "for some time", and then there will be a difficult period of stabilization measures.

Liberation of Kherson: what is known

Before the retreat, the occupiers in Kherson had already completely plundered and taken all the property to the left bank, and what they could not take away, they simply gutted.

Subsequently, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Serhiy Shoigu, ordered the commander of the so-called "special operation" in Ukraine, Surovikin, to begin the withdrawal of troops across the Dnipro River.

We will remind you that on November 9, the Russian army blew up 5 crossings in the Kherson region.

It is reported that Kyrylo Stremousov, the deputy Gauleiter of the Kherson region, has died.

Russian propagandists claim that the so-called "deputy head of the Kherson region" Stremousov died in a road accident.
