Military expert Oleg Zhdanov explained why the decisive period of the
war
in Ukraine is now approaching.
He told about this in
an interview with
TSN.ua.
"Now the situation is deadlocked on the front line, that's why. On the one hand, at the beginning of autumn, we accumulated reserves and took a powerful step in terms of counteroffensive actions, conducted more than one counteroffensive operation. And today at the front, I would say, there is such a parity and a deadlock situation in it makes sense that who is who. Russia is filling its troops with mobilized troops and this makes it possible to stabilize the situation at the front. We cannot advance, we do not have enough reserves, and they are consolidating their units and units. Due to the number, they stop our offensive" - he said.
Therefore, as Zhdanov explained, the decisive moment today is who will quickly accumulate reserves, who will be able to go on the offensive sooner.
"We are on the counteroffensive, or the Russian Federation is on the offensive. Therefore, this moment can be considered decisive today," the expert said.
Russia continues mobilization, asks Iran for missiles and is ready for negotiations with Ukraine
According to military expert Dmytro Snegyrev,
there are now about 82,000 people mobilized
in the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, and about 220,000 people mobilized in Russia to strengthen the Russian Guard.
According to analysts from the Institute of War, partial mobilization did not help Putin achieve his plans,
therefore, he is likely to
continue his covert mobilization.
According to military expert Oleg Zhdanov, the Russian dictator Putin
wants to gather a million mobilized
men and has high hopes for them, because he expects a long war.
At the same time, according to expert Dmytro Snegiriev, mobilization leads
to destabilization of the situation inside Russia
.
Because of Russia's failures on the Ukrainian front, the sidelines again talked about
who could replace Vladimir Putin
as president.
Today, November 9, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said that
Russia is ready for negotiations with Ukraine
"taking into account the realities that are developing now."
It is also worth adding that today the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Serhiy Shoigu, ordered the commander of the so-called "special operation" in Ukraine, Surovikin
, to retreat from the right bank of the Dnieper.
The Office of the President of Ukraine believes that Russia is exhausted, but is looking for opportunities to continue the war.
Exactly
therefore, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Mykola Patrushev
went to Iran to ask for missiles and drones
.
According to the former commander of the US Ground Forces in Europe, Lieutenant General Ben Godges,
an attack on Ukraine from Belarus today is unlikely
.
If Oleksandr Lukashenko orders his army to advance, the Belarusians may revolt.
