Aam Aadmi Party's national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that he is "people's darling" and alleged that the BJP is upset with the love he is getting.

Ahead of the Delhi Municipal Corporation and Gujarat Assembly elections, BJP leaders had sharply criticized Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party for being the "most corrupt party".

Arvind Kejriwal was reacting on this.

Kejriwal said in a tweet, "The first PM of Punjab said - Kejriwal is a terrorist. HM has set up an investigation. What happened to him? Now before Gujarat / MCD, you are saying that Kejriwal is corrupt. Hey, Kejriwal is terrorist or corrupt then arrest him. Karo na? Kejriwal is neither a terrorist nor a corrupt. Kejriwal is the darling of the people. This hurts the BJP."

Let us inform that polling for 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is to be held on December 4, while the counting of votes will take place on December 7.

The BJP has been in control of the civic bodies in Delhi since 2007.

In the 2017 municipal elections, the BJP won 181 out of 270 wards.

Voting could not be held in two seats due to the death of the candidates.

The Aam Aadmi Party had won 48 wards, while the Congress was successful in winning 27 wards.

Earlier this year, the Center integrated the city's three municipal corporations under the MCD and reduced the total number of wards from 272 to 250.
