The owner of "Wagner" PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin continues to rely on inefficient convicts to fill his forces.

Occupants recruited from Russian colonies are dying in Ukraine like flies.

This is stated in the report of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Thus, Prigozhin refused to comment on a journalist's question about recruitment in the colonies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, despite the fact that he had previously openly discussed the participation of prisoners in the war with Russian mass media such as RiaFan.

The Russian opposition publication The Insider found that more than 500 prisoners recruited into Wagner's units have died in the past two months.

The publication adds that "Wagner" lost from 800 to 1,000 mercenaries in Ukraine, which indicates that convicts make up a significant part of "Wagner" forces in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian special services also previously reported that many infectious prisoners infected Wagner's troops, to which Prigozhin replied that he did not discriminate on the basis of illness.

We will remind that "Putin's cook" Yevgeny Prigozhin, who was sentenced to 13 years in prison for robbery, fraud and theft, openly spits on the local authorities, opening his Centers in cities without permission, and earns himself political points for the future.
