Global inflation may be nearing its peak.

However, it may prove difficult to bring it down to the target levels of around 2 percent.

Kristalina Georgieva stated this in an interview for Bloomberg

Kristalina Ivanova Georgieva was born on August 13, 1953 in Sofia. High school education, managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), who will take part in the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference, which started yesterday in Egypt .

What pushes inflation up is not only the disrupted demand and supply, but also the changing environment, as a result of the realization that we can no longer make our decisions based on possible costs, says Georgieva, explaining that if we want to achieve diversification of supply chains, this will inevitably push prices up.

We see that central banks are united in their fight against inflation, and have made it their top priority.

The struggle of central banks with inflation and the diversification of supplies, processes that run in parallel, will bring prices down to the levels they should be at, adds Georgieva.
