Analysts from the Institute of War believe that Russian troops will probably have to withdraw from

Kherson

with battles to prevent Ukrainian forces from pursuing them on the left (eastern) bank.

This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) today, November 5.

Analysts assume that in this way the occupiers are trying to avoid a breakthrough from the right (western) bank of the Dnieper.

"Russian troops will probably have to withdraw with fighting to prevent Ukrainian forces from pursuing them on the left (eastern) bank," the experts noted.

They also mentioned that the Operational Command "South" corrected the information from November 3 regarding the destruction of civilian boats and piers on the Dnieper.

"The corrected story informs that the invaders are preparing defensive positions on the left bank. This indicates that they are eliminating the possibility that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could pursue them across the river during or after the withdrawal," the Institute for the Study of War added.

It was previously reported that Vladimir Putin will face increasing pressure from Russian nationalist forces in connection with the expected withdrawal of occupation troops from the key city of

Kherson.

High-ranking officials believe that the military leadership of the Russian Federation is preparing the withdrawal of troops from the southern city, and this will cause sharp criticism from the so-called patriots, in particular at Putin.
