Planned demining works are ongoing in the Kyiv region.

This was reported by Kyiv OVA.

"Today, November 4, in Buchansk District, units of the State Emergency Service will carry out the destruction of explosive objects," the message reads.

The OVA warned that the sounds of explosions may be heard during the works.

We will remind that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia actively tried to capture Kyiv, as a result of which part of the region was under occupation.

During the occupation, the Russians committed atrocities against the civilian population in the Kyiv region.

When retreating, they mined everything - from the territory, fields and forests to residential buildings and even the corpses of their soldiers.
