A Turkish citizen was arrested for illegally possessing cigarettes without a Bulgarian excise label in the Vidin region, reports the Appellate Prosecutor's Office - Sofia.

At the request of the District Prosecutor's Office - Vidin, the court took a measure of remand "detention in custody" against the Turkish citizen F.C., brought as a defendant in pre-trial proceedings for a committed crime.

In all cases, the cigarettes were hidden in the motor vehicles, in structural cavities of the cars, in the compartment and in the passengers' luggage.
