Security cameras in Pernik filmed the prosecutor's son on the day Vasil Mihailov was placed under house arrest.

Vasil Mihailov is back in his home in Pernik under house arrest.

Throughout the day today, not only uniformed, but also civilian police officers are watching to see if he will not go outside.

His father, prosecutor Biser Mihailov, appeared for questioning at the Metropolitan Directorate of Internal Affairs today.

He has not submitted his resignation yet.

"He must, if he has a resignation, submit it to the Supreme Judicial Council.

He comes to work, of course," Albena Stoilova, spokesperson for the District Prosecutor's Office - Pernik, told BTV.

The prosecutor's son from Pernik remains under house arrest

Footage from the day Vasil Mihailov was placed under house arrest shows how shortly after 7:00 p.m. the man crosses the street and goes to the restaurant across the street.

He spends two minutes there, then heads in the direction of the address where he has to serve his sentence.

Yesterday, the Sofia District Court placed the prosecutor's son under house arrest, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs began to check whether he would not go outside - with both uniformed and civilian police officers.

Relatives of Rumen Andonov, for the beating of whom Vasil Mihailov is accused, hope that at the second instance his measure will be changed to "detention in custody".

"I think it's not right and we already feel powerless.

Really the court, just really Biser Mihailov controls it," says Sandra Andonova, daughter of Rumen Andonov.

"According to my information, he left his home 9 times and there is no way that the bracelet gave an error nine times with intervals of 2-5-20-40 minutes," added Mariana Andonova, wife of Rumen Andonov.

And the Ministry of Justice's check of violations by the Main Directorate "Execution of Punishments" shows that there was no connection with Mikhailov's bracelet 40 minutes.
