[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] The epidemic situation of Wuhan pneumonia (new coronavirus disease, COVID-19) in China has not yet eased, and the "dynamic clearing" policy adopted by the CCP has not been effective, and even caused many conflicts.

Recently, a 3-year-old boy in Lanzhou, Gansu Province was poisoned by gas, but unfortunately died because of the community lockdown and too late to seek medical attention.

The official downplaying of the incident has also aroused popular resentment in China.

On the 1st, there was news on Chinese social media that a 3-year-old boy in Lanzhou, Gansu was poisoned by gas, but the community where he lived was under lockdown, and his family was unable to send the boy to the hospital in time, which eventually led to the unfortunate death of the boy.

However, the Chinese media only mentioned this incident lightly. China News Weekly reported that the Emergency Management Bureau of Qilihe District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province stated that a resident in the district accidentally caused two people to be poisoned with carbon monoxide when using a gas stove.

After being sent to the hospital, one person died after rescue efforts were unsuccessful. The cause of the incident is under investigation.

Today (2) afternoon, the father of the 3-year-old boy posted on the Internet that the boy had been buried and asked the community to give an explanation.

He said in the article that his wife and children were found to be poisoned by gas on the afternoon of the 1st. His wife was in good condition, but his son was in a coma, so he called the community management unit and the police for help, but there was no news.

Even asking if he could take his son to the hospital in the vehicle of the epidemic prevention staff was refused.

The boy's father mentioned that in the end, he tore open the control fence himself and took a taxi to the hospital with the help of kind-hearted people.

But the son still passed away unfortunately. The hospital said he died of suffocation, while the police forensic doctor said that he died of gas poisoning.

He also mentioned: "My child might have been saved if he had been sent to the hospital earlier."

The boy's father even pointed out that so far the community has not taken the initiative to contact him, but an organization claiming to be a non-governmental organization said it could provide 100,000 yuan, but they had to sign an agreement that the community would not be held accountable.

But he said: "I didn't sign it, I just wanted a statement."

The incident was fermented on major social media and Weibo in China, and even hit the trending search on Weibo for a time.

But what followed was the CCP’s usual information control. At present, the comment area for news about related events has been opened to select comments and cannot be viewed; and there are videos on the Internet, saying that the Lanzhou police sent a large number of armed police to enter the Qilihe District.
