Iran will send a delegation to Vienna for negotiations with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

APA reports with reference to IRNA that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahiyan said this at a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart.

He said that the Iranian delegation will go to Vienna in the next few days to negotiate with AEBA and strengthen cooperation.

The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry noted that the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami and the general director of AEBA Rafael Grossi have agreed on a mutual action plan between the two sides.

The foreign minister also expressed hope that the UN nuclear agency will focus on technical issues, "so that the accusations against Iran will be resolved through technical cooperation."

The minister added that today he will also speak by phone with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Joseph Borrell.
