A chain accident hinders traffic on the road between the Pazardzhik villages of Vetren Dol and Bratanitsa, from where traffic passes from Velingrad to Pazardzhik and Plovdiv.

There were no casualties, but there were injuries, reported the spokesman of the Pazardzhik police, Miroslav Stoyanov: "According to initial data, a 29-year-old driver from the village of Draginovo with a BMW overtook and collided with the back of a truck with a Scania tractor, driven by a 41- a year-old man from Sarnitsa. From there, the BMW bounced off and ended up in the oncoming traffic lane, where it hit a Volkswagen minibus, and two more cars crashed into it."

"Until now, emergency teams have transported two of the passengers in the Volkswagen van to the Multispecialty Hospital in Pazardzhik for active treatment. A temporary organization of traffic has been created, the scene of the accident is being inspected. Our appeal is to the drivers who drive in the section between the village Bratanitsa and the village of Vetren dol, to do it at a much lower speed than the permissible speed and to know that procedural actions are being taken in this case," Stoyanov also said, quoted by the BNR.
