The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, is probably trying to get security guarantees from China, or organize his escape to this country.

This was stated by the Belarusian oppositionist who lives in Poland, Pavlo Latushko, the "Gordon" publication informs.

Latushko commented on the statement of the head of intelligence, Kirill Budanov, that Belarus

"will look around and ask only China"

in the matter of open entry into the war .

The oppositionist drew attention to the fact that Lukashenko "was always proud and called the partnership with Beijing strategic."

Beijing's influence on Belarus

"In this way, he tried to

balance the influence

exerted on him by the Russian Federation, demonstrating that he allegedly has another pole on which he can lean. Now Lukashenko is returning to this rhetoric again and, meeting at the SCO with the head of the PRC, then with Vice President of the People's Republic of China, he again spoke about strategic partnership and even brought to the public the topic that China will allocate credit resources to Belarus, provide financial assistance and that he plans to visit China," he said.

Tribunal

According to the opposition, Lukashenko

is most afraid of the tribunal

for crimes against Ukraine.

Latushko is certain: the Belarusian dictator realized the inevitability of the defeat of the Russian Federation and responsibility for crimes.

Therefore, he is now looking for options to save his own skin and his family.

"I had to communicate with this person, if he can be called a person at all, and I also got the impression that for the first time he began to think about himself, about the members of his family, and what will happen next, what will happen tomorrow. We see, that its end is coming, Ukraine will win, and then there will be an international criminal tribunal. This is a responsibility," Latushko notes.

Milosevic's fate or escape to China

According to him, Lukashenko is very

afraid of the fate of the former president of Serbia, Slobodan Milosevic

.

"At closed meetings, he mentions that

'we will sit in an international tribunal'

. He is very afraid of this. He was personally acquainted with Milosevic and constantly cites this example. Perhaps he can try

with China

as a backup option to discuss the situation

of his escape

before this country. I would not reject such a thing," the oppositionist concluded.

Putin can take over Belarus

Previously, Pavlo Latushko stated that Putin would try to finally annex Belarus in case of defeat in Ukraine.

Thus, on October 10, it became known that Lukashenko and Putin agreed on the deployment of a joint regional grouping of troops within the borders of the Union State.

On October 15, the first echelons of Russian troops arrived in Belarus.

According to the head of the GUR, there are currently about 4,300 Russian servicemen in Belarus.

Among them are the scandalous "Kadyrivtsi".

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, emphasized that Belarus

had long crossed the "red lines"

and noted that after the victory over Russia, there will be a separate conversation with the Lukashenko regime.
