A 49-year-old man who was against the war with Ukraine was detained in Belarus.

The man was forced to apologize on camera because of his position.

This was reported by the monitoring group "Belarusian Gayun".

According to the monitoring group, a 49-year-old resident of the city of Mogilev used anti-war posts on the Russian social network Odnoklasniki.

Belarusian security forces tracked him down and detained him.

The man was forced to apologize because of his anti-war stance in "difficult times".

Activists emphasize that people who have a pro-Ukrainian position are mocked in Belarus: they are beaten, humiliated and judged even for wearing socks with Ukrainian or Belarusian symbols.
