"Cotton" happened in the village of Nikolske, Belgorod Region, bordering Ukraine.

This was

reported

by the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, blaming the shelling, as usual, on the Ukrainian side.

"Due to the arrival of shells in the village of Nikolske, Belgorod district, the power line was damaged," he said.

It should be noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not officially confirm their involvement in "cotton" on the territory of the Russian Federation, in particular in the Belgorod region.

And military expert Zhdanov explained why the Russians are shelling their Belgorod - the missiles they launch over Ukraine are technically defective, so they fall without reaching the target.

It was previously reported that in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, the military shot a man who accidentally found their positions.
